Non-woven Abrasive Belt MAB - SCB
Non-woven belts are used on belt grinding machines and long belt grinding machines to achieve a mat or satin finish.
The belts can also be used for roughening of soft materials.
There are two types of belts: soft mat finishing belt MAB and aggressive mat finish / grinding belt SCB.
Suitable for wet and dry use.
abra-flex® belt MAB
Non-woven abrasive on cloth backing.
The soft non-woven abrasive material adapts to uneven surfaces.
Corresponds to Hermes type MAG (AlO) or MSG (SiC).
abra-flex® belt SCB® Band SCB
Compressed non-woven surface conditioning belt.
More aggressive, but less flexible than type MAB.
Resistant to damage caused by sharp edges or corners on workpieces.
Corresponds to Hermes type AN702.

AJ003 coarse, CP medium, AJ004 medium, AJ006 fine, AJ007 very fine, CP very fine
With silicon carbide abrasive grit (SiC)

Type x-flex: flexible, used for narrow belts | AO coarse – medium – fine – very fine
Type X: standard type | AO coarse – medium fine – very fine
Type low-Stretch: low elongation during use, stiffer than type X | AO coarse – medium fine – very fine, SiC ultra fine
Type HD: „Heavy Duty“, very stiff, high aggressiveness | AO coarse – medium – fine – very fine
Length: min. 275 mm | Width: 6 – 300 mm

and tailored to the specific application by using the appropriate non-woven material.
