Tampico Brush CBO-K / CBO-M
Tampico brushes are mainly used for:
· Pre-polishing, polishing of metals
· Satin finishing of metals
· Applying of wax and oil on solid wood
· Burnishing of wooden surfaces
· Cleaning of surfaces
Tampico or Mexico-fibre brushes are very flexible tools that adapt also to shaped surfaces. The hardness and aggressitivity of the bruhes can be adapted to the specific application of the customer by additional impregnation or by changing the density of the brush.
The fiber is highly heat-resistant, hard, and aggressive, and offers optimal properties for polishing tasks. The rough fiber structure ensures that the polishing compound adheres well to the fiber.
Diameter: 50 – 120 mm
Width CBO-K with wooden core: 12 – 39 mm
Width CBO-M with metal core: 12 – 50 mm
Possible bore types: round, hex, conical
Special types:
· Impregnation for adapting the characteristics of the brush:
· Increased service life and hardness, improved polishing compound adhesion (sticky impregnation)
· Convex or concave profiling, e.g.to be adapted to the concave curve of a spoon
